Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

This policy covers the Dotsplosion mobile game for iOS and Android (bundle com.asf.chainreaction), published by Süleyman Özdemirci. It explains what the game collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to delete it.

The short version. You can play offline against the bots without an account. Signing in is optional and only exists so your rating follows you between devices. The game shows ads, and the ad SDK uses an advertising identifier — on iOS it asks your permission first, and if you decline, it is not used for tracking. You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app at any time.

What the game collects

If you sign in (optional)

Signing in with Apple or Google gives the game your email address and name. The name is only used to suggest your in-game display name; you can change it. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.

Your game profile — display name, ELO rating, wins and losses — is stored in Google Cloud Firestore so that it can appear on the leaderboard and follow you to another device. Playing as a guest creates an anonymous profile with no email or name attached.

Advertising

The game shows interstitial and rewarded ads through Google AdMob. AdMob uses a device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and advertising interaction data — which ads were shown, tapped or watched — to select ads and measure campaigns. AdMob may also derive a coarse location (roughly, city level) from your IP address. This data is used for tracking, in Apple's sense of the word, and is shared with Google as an independent controller.

On iOS the game asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before this is used for tracking. If you decline, the advertising identifier is not used to track you and you will see non-personalised ads instead. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete the Advertising ID in the system settings.

Buying the ad-free upgrade removes interstitial ads. Rewarded ads remain available if you choose to watch one for a spin.

Purchases

The ad-free purchase is processed by Apple or Google — the game never sees your payment details. RevenueCat records the purchase history (which product, when, and whether it is still valid) so the purchase can be restored on another device. RevenueCat identifies the purchase with its own anonymous identifier, not with your account.

Analytics and diagnostics

Google Firebase Analytics records product interaction — which screens are opened, matches started and finished, power-ups used — and performance data about how the app runs. This is used to see which parts of the game people actually use, and to find what is broken.

Online play

An online match stores the board state, the moves and the result in Firestore while the match is live, so both players see the same game. Your display name and rating are visible to your opponent and on the leaderboard. Private room codes are visible to whoever you share them with.

What the game does not collect

Who it is shared with

Data is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone beyond the providers above.

How long it is kept

Your profile and rating are kept while the account exists. Delete the account and they are removed. Analytics and advertising data are retained by Google under their own retention rules. Online match documents are transient and are cleaned up after the match ends.

Your choices

Children

Dotsplosion is a general-audience game and is not directed at children. Ad content is limited to a PG rating. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and it will be deleted.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here before it takes effect.
